Year 6 Enrichment Week
This week, the children in year 6 took part in an enrichment week as part of their year long transition programme.
Since Monday, the children in year 6 have taken part in a range of enrichment activities including bell boating, orienteering, cricket, steel pans, making burritos, Indian dance, yoga, programming, art and many more. It was a fantastic week and the children were amazing throughout.
After speaking to the children and staff, it is clear that they have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have learnt a great deal. The children’s behaviour has also been exemplary. Hopefully they will be able to reflect on their experiences and apply what they have learnt into other areas of the curriculum.
The enrichment week would not have been so successful without the support from staff and some parent volunteers. A special thank you goes to the year 6 team for organising the week, and supporting the children throughout.
