    Newsletter 24.09.2020

    Dear Parents, Pupils and Carers,

Last Friday, the children and staff came into school wearing jeans and, together, we raised over £230.  The money raised will go a long way towards helping children who struggle with genetic diseases.  Thank you for your continued support with charity events.  This Friday, the school will be raising money for Macmillan by holding a tea party in class.  Pupils will be able to enjoy a slice of cake, a drink, and be expected to donate £1.  I would like to thank you in advance if you have ordered cakes to take home as all the money will go towards this important charity that supports people who suffer from cancer.

By now, you should all be familiar with the changes to the start and end of day procedures.  These arrangements are working well and we thank you for continuing to observe social distancing rules.  Please note that the children will still be dismissed as normal at the gate, regardless of the weather.  As autumn is fast approaching, we would therefore encourage all pupils to come to school wearing appropriate footwear (particularly if they want to use the climbing frames) and a waterproof jacket with a hood.  Additionally, I would like to remind you that Anton Place should be kept clear at the start and end of the school day.  To ensure the safety of the pupils and residents, please do not drive or park on this road when dropping off or picking up your child.
